Huzaifa bin Yaman reported,

Dajjal was mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said, "I fear the trial that some of you will face more than I fear the trial of Dajjal. No one will be saved from what comes before it except that he will be saved from it. No trial, small or great, has ever been brought about since the beginning of the world except as a prelude to the trial of Dajjal."

حدثنا وهب بن جرير حدثنا أبي قال سمعت الأعمش عن أبي وائل

عن حذيفة قال

ذكر الدجال عند رسول الله ﷺ فقال لأنا لفتنة بعضكم أخوف عندي من فتنة الدجال ولن ينجو أحد مما قبلها إلا نجا منها وما صنعت فتنة منذ كانت الدنيا صغيرة ولا كبيرة إلا لفتنة الدجال
