Huzaifa bin Yaman reported,

I prayed with the Prophet ﷺ one night. He began with Surah al-Baqarah and recited until he reached the hundredth verse. I said to myself, "He will bow now." But he continued until he reached the two-hundredth verse. I said to myself, "He will bow now." But he continued until he completed the surah. I said to myself, "He will bow now."Then he began Surah Al Imran and recited until he completed it. I said to myself, "He will bow now."Then he began Surah an-Nisa and recited it through. Then he bowed. In his bowing he said, "Glory be to my Lord, the Magnificent." His bowing was as long as his standing. Then he prostrated, and his prostration was as long as his bowing, and in his prostration he said, "Glory be to my Lord, the Most High."Whenever he passed a verse of mercy, he would ask Allah for it. Whenever he passed a verse mentioning punishment, he would seek refuge from it. And whenever he passed a verse declaring Allah free of imperfection, he would glorify Him.

عن حذيفة قال

صليت مع النبي ﷺ ذات ليلة قال فافتتح البقرة فقرأ حتى بلغ رأس المائة فقلت يركع ثم مضى حتى بلغ المائتين فقلت يركع ثم مضى حتى ختمها قال فقلت يركع قال ثم افتتح سورة آل عمران حتى ختمها قال فقلت يركع قال ثم افتتح سورة النساء فقرأها قال ثم ركع قال فقال في ركوعه سبحان ربي العظيم قال وكان ركوعه بمنزلة قيامه ثم سجد فكان سجوده مثل ركوعه وقال في سجوده سبحان ربي الأعلى قال وكان إذا مر بآية رحمة سأل وإذا مر بآية فيها عذاب تعوذ وإذا مر بآية فيها تنزيه لله عز وجل سبح
