I prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and during his bowing he would say, "Glory be to my Lord, the Magnificent," and in his prostration he would say, "Glory be to my Lord, the Most High."He did not pass by a verse of mercy without pausing at it to ask Allah for it, nor by a verse of punishment without seeking refuge from it.

Its chain of transmission is sahih. Saad bin Ubayda Sulami is a trustworthy narrator among the Tabiin, and his hadith is found in the collections of the group. Mustawrid is Ibn Ahnaf Kufi, one of the senior trustworthy Tabiin. Likewise, Salah bin Zafar Absi is one whose narrations were transmitted by the group except Bukhari.This hadith was narrated by Muslim, 1/536, no. 772, in the book of travelers, Abu Dawud, 1/230, no. 871, and Tirmidhi, 2/48, no. 262, who said it is hasan sahih, both in the book of prayer, Ibn Majah, 1/289, no. 897, Darimi, 1/341, no. 1306, Ibn Khuzayma, 1/273, no. 543, and Nasai, 2/176, no. 1008, in the book of the opening.
