I came to the Prophet ﷺ and heard him addressing the people, saying, "The hand that gives is the upper hand. Begin with your mother and your father, your sister and your brother, then those nearest to you, then the next nearest."A man said, "Messenger of Allah, these are the sons of Thalaba bin Yarbu who killed so-and-so."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "No soul bears the crime of another."
حدثنا يونس حدثنا أبو عوانة عن الأشعث بن سليم عن أبيه
أتيت النبي ﷺ فسمعته وهو يكلم الناس يقول يد المعطي العليا أمك وأباك وأختك وأخاك ثم أدناك أدناك فقال رجل يا رسول الله هؤلاء بنو ثعلبة بن يربوع الذين أصابوا فلانا قال فقال رسول الله ﷺ ألا لا تجني نفس على أخرى
