Abu Salam reported,

We were sitting in the mosque of Hims when he mentioned the same meaning, except that he said, "Whoever says when he rises in the morning and when he enters the evening, 'I am content with Allah as Lord, with Islam as religion, and with Muhammad as Prophet,' three times in the morning and three times in the evening, it is binding upon Allah to please him on the Day of Resurrection."

حدثنا عفان حدثنا شعبة قال أبو عقيل أخبرني قال سمعت سابق بن ناجية رجلا من أهل الشام يحدث

عن أبي سلام البراء رجل من أهل دمشق قال

كنا قعودا في مسجد حمص فذكر معناه إلا أنه قال يقول إذا أصبح وإذا أمسى رضيت بالله ربا وبالإسلام دينا وبمحمد نبيا ثلاث مرات إذا أصبح وثلاث مرات إذا أمسى إلا كان حقا على الله عز وجل أن يرضيه يوم القيامة
