Zuhayr bin Aqmar reported,

While Hasan bin Ali was delivering a sermon after Ali had been killed, a tall, dark-skinned man from the tribe of Azd stood up and said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ placing him in his lap and saying, 'Whoever loves me, let him love this one, and let those present convey it to those absent.' Were it not for the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ insistence, I would not have told you this."

عن زهير بن الأقمر قال

بينما الحسن بن علي يخطب بعدما قتل علي رضي الله عنه إذ قام رجل من الأزد آدم طوال فقال لقد رأيت رسول الله ﷺ واضعه في حبوته يقول من أحبني فليحبه فليبلغ الشاهد الغائب ولولا عزمة رسول الله ﷺ ما حدثتكم
