Two men from Banu Sulaym, both companions of the Prophet ﷺ, met one another. One said to the other, "I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, 'Subhan Allah fills half the scale, Alhamdulillah fills it completely, and Allahu Akbar fills what is between the heavens and the earth. Fasting is half of patience, and ablution is half of faith.'"
حدثنا يزيد أخبرنا حماد بن سلمة عن عاصم بن أبي النجود
التقى رجلان من بني سليم من أصحاب النبي ﷺ فقال أحدهما لصاحبه سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول سبحان الله نصف الميزان والحمد لله يملؤه والله أكبر يملأ ما بين السماء والأرض والصوم نصف الصبر والوضوء نصف الإيمان
