The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us one day and said, "People, there are two things. Whoever Allah protects from their evil will enter Paradise."A man from the Ansar stood up and said, "Messenger of Allah, will you not tell us what they are?"The Prophet ﷺ then repeated, "Two things. Whoever Allah protects from their evil will enter Paradise."When the man asked the third time, the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ made him sit down and said to him, "Don't you see that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wants to give us good news, but you are preventing him?"He replied, "I am afraid that people will simply rely on it."Then the Prophet ﷺ said, "Two things. Whoever Allah protects from their evil will enter Paradise. What is between his jaws and what is between his legs."
حدثنا ابن نمير عن عثمان يعني ابن حكيم أخبرني تميم بن يزيد مولى بني زمعة
خطبنا رسول الله ﷺ ذات يوم ثم قال أيها الناس ثنتان من وقاه الله شرهما دخل الجنة قال فقام رجل من الأنصار فقال يا رسول الله لا تخبرنا ما هما ثم قال اثنان من وقاه الله شرهما دخل الجنة حتى إذا كانت الثالثة أجلسه أصحاب رسول الله ﷺ فقالوا ترى رسول الله ﷺ يريد يبشرنا فتمنعه فقال إني أخاف أن يتكل الناس فقال ثنتان من وقاه الله شرهما دخل الجنة ما بين لحييه وما بين رجليه
