The Messenger of Allah ﷺ called Bilal and said, "Bilal, how have you outstripped me to Paradise? Last night I entered Paradise and heard the sound of your footsteps ahead of me. I came upon a square palace of gold and asked, 'Whose palace is this?' They said, 'It belongs to a man from the nation of Muhammad.' I said, 'I am Muhammad. Whose palace is this?' They said, 'It belongs to a man from the Arabs.' I said, 'I am an Arab. Whose palace is this?' They said, 'It belongs to a man from Quraysh.' I said, 'I am from Quraysh. Whose palace is this?' They said, 'It belongs to Umar bin Khattab.'"Bilal replied, "Messenger of Allah, I have never made the call to prayer without praying two units of prayer afterward, and I have never broken my ablution without performing ablution again right then."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is because of this."

دعا رسول الله ﷺ بلالا فقال يا بلال بم سبقتني إلى الجنة إني دخلت الجنة البارحة فسمعت خشخشتك أمامي فأتيت على قصر من ذهب مربع فقلت لمن هذا القصر قالوا لرجل من أمة محمد قلت فأنا محمد لمن هذا القصر قالو لرجل من العرب قلت أنا عربي لمن هذا القصر قالوا لرجل من قريش قلت فأنا قرشي لمن هذا القصر قالوا لعمر بن الخطاب فقال بلال يا رسول الله ما أذنت قط إلا صليت ركعتين وما أصابني حدث قط إلا توضأت عندها فقال رسول الله ﷺ بهذا
