Muaz bin Jabal once led his companions in the evening prayer and recited Surah al-Qamar in it. A man left the prayer before Muaz had finished, completed his prayer alone, and went on his way. Muaz spoke harshly about him.The man went to the Prophet ﷺ and apologized to him, saying, "I had been working among the palm trees, and I was worried about my irrigation water."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Muaz, "Recite By the sun and its brightness and surahs like it." [Shams 91:1]
حدثنا زيد بن الحباب حدثني حسين حدثنا عبد الله بن بريدة قال سمعت
إن معاذ بن جبل يقول صلى بأصحابه صلاة العشاء فقرأ فيها اقتربت الساعة فقام رجل من قبل أن يفرغ فصلى وذهب فقال له معاذ قولا شديدا فأتى الرجل النبي ﷺ فاعتذر إليه فقال إني كنت أعمل في نخل فخفت على الماء فقال رسول الله ﷺ صل بالشمس وضحاها ونحوها من السور
