The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever plays with dice is as though he has dipped his hand in the flesh of a pig and its blood." On one occasion, Waki did not connect this report to the Prophet.

قال رسول الله ﷺ من لعب بالنردشير فكأنما غمس يده في لحم خنزير ودمه ولم يسنده وكيع مرة
