The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the funeral prayer for Najashi.

Its chain of transmission is daif, because of the unnamed man narrating from Ibn Abbas. It is found in Majma al-Zawaid (3:37), where it is said, Ahmad narrated it, and it contains a man who is not named. The Messenger of Allah's ﷺ prayer over the Negus is firmly established in Sahihayn and other collections through the hadith of Jabir and the hadith of Abu Hurairah, and in Tirmidhi and Nasai through the hadith of Imran bin Husayn.
