The two of them heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "People must stop neglecting the Friday prayers, or else Allah will seal their hearts and they will be recorded among the heedless."
حدثنا عفان حدثنا أبان العطار حدثنا يحيى بن أبي كثير عن زيد عن أبي سلام عن الحكم بن ميناء
أنهما سمعا رسول الله ﷺ يقول لينتهين أقوام عن ودعهم الجمعات أو ليختمن الله على قلوبهم ثم ليكتبن من الغافلين
Its isnad is sahih. Zayd is Ibn Salam bin Abu Salam Habashi, and he is trustworthy. Nasai, Abu Zura Dimashqi, Daraqutni, and others rated him trustworthy, and Bukhari mentioned his biography in al-Kabir 2/1/361. This hadith is a repetition of 2132, and we have already discussed the issue of its defect there in detail. This narration is the one we referred to from the narration of Nasai.
