Sahl bin Saad reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah, may I never live to see, or may you never live to see, a time in which the man of knowledge is not followed and the forbearing one is shown no respect. Their hearts will be the hearts of foreigners while their tongues will be the tongues of Arabs."
