The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I will go ahead of you to the Pool. Whoever comes upon me will drink, and whoever drinks will never thirst again. Some people whom I know and who know me will be presented to me, but then a barrier will be set between me and them."Numan bin Abu Ayyash heard me narrating this and said, "I bear witness that Abu Saeed Khudri added to it, saying that the Prophet ﷺ said, 'I will say, They are my followers, of my community, but it will be said, You do not know what they introduced after you, or what they changed after you. So I will say, Away with them, away with whoever changed things after me.'"

قال رسول الله ﷺ أنا فرطكم على الحوض من ورد علي شرب ومن شرب لم يظمأ أبدا أبصرت أن لا يرد علي أقوام أعرفهم ويعرفونني ثم يحال بيني وبينهم قال فسمعني النعمان بن أبي عياش أحدث به فقال وأشهد أن أبا سعيد الخدري يزيد فيه فيقول وأقول إنهم أمتي أو مني فيقال إنك لا تدري ما أحدثوا بعدك أو ما بدلوا بعدك فأقول سحقا سحقا لمن بدل بعدي
