He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "An evening's journey in the cause of Allah..." and he mentioned the rest with the same meaning.
حدثنا حسين حدثنا محمد بن مطرف عن أبي حازم
أنه سمع رسول الله ﷺ يقول روحة في سبيل الله فذكر معناه
Its chain of transmission is sahih.
