Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah has made Makkah sacred. It was not lawful for anyone before me, nor will it be lawful for anyone after me. It was made lawful for me only for an hour of one day. Its grass is not to be cut, its trees are not to be uprooted, its game is not to be disturbed, and its lost property is not to be picked up except by one who will announce it publicly."Abbas said, "Except for idhkhir grass, for it is used by our goldsmiths and for our graves."He replied, "Except for idhkhir."

عن ابن عباس

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إن الله عز وجل حرم مكة فلم تحل لأحد كان قبلي ولا تحل لأحد بعدي وإنما أحلت لي ساعة من نهار لا يختلى خلاها ولا يعضد شجرها ولا ينفر صيدها ولا تلتقط لقطتها إلا لمعرف فقال العباس إلا الإذخر لصاغتنا وقبورنا قال إلا الإذخر
