Ubada bin Samit reported,

He told them that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no Muslim man on the face of the earth who supplicates to Allah with a supplication but that Allah grants it to him or wards off from him an equivalent amount of evil, so long as he does not supplicate for something sinful or for the severing of family ties."
