Ubada bin Samit said, "There was revealed to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ the verse, 'And those who commit the indecency...' to the end of the verse." He said, "So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ applied that ruling to them.While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sitting and we were around him, whenever revelation came down upon him he would turn away from us and we would turn away from him, and his face would change color and he would be distressed by it. When the revelation was lifted from him, he said, 'Take this from me.'We said, 'Yes, Messenger of Allah.'He said, 'Allah has appointed a way for them. The unmarried with the unmarried, a hundred lashes and banishment for a year. The married with the married, a hundred lashes and then stoning.'"Hasan said, "I do not know whether this is part of the hadith or not." He said, "If they testify that the two were found together under a single blanket, though they do not testify to actual intercourse between them, the punishment is a hundred lashes and the shaving of their heads."

قال عبادة بن الصامت نزل على رسول الله ﷺ {واللاتي يأتين الفاحشة} إلى آخر الآية قال ففعل ذلك بهن رسول الله ﷺ فبينما رسول الله ﷺ جالس ونحن حوله وكان إذا نزل عليه الوحي أعرض عنا وأعرضنا عنه وتربد وجهه وكرب لذلك فلما رفع عنه الوحي قال خذوا عني قلنا نعم يا رسول الله قال قد جعل الله لهن سبيلا البكر بالبكر جلد مائة ونفي سنة والثيب بالثيب جلد مائة ثم الرجم قال الحسن فلا أدري أمن الحديث هو أم لا قال فإن شهدوا أنهما وجدا في لحاف لا يشهدون على جماع خالطها به جلد مائة وجزت رءوسهما
