The Messenger of Allah ﷺ informed us about Laylat al-Qadr, saying, "It is in the month of Ramadan. Seek it in the last ten nights, for it falls on an odd night, the twenty-first, the twenty-third, the twenty-fifth, the twenty-seventh, or the last night of Ramadan. Whoever stands in prayer during it seeking its reward, his previous sins will be forgiven."
حدثنا زكريا بن عدي أخبرنا عبيد الله بن عمرو عن عبد الله بن محمد بن عقيل عن عمر بن عبد الرحمن
أخبرنا رسول الله ﷺ عن ليلة القدر فقال هي في شهر رمضان فالتمسوها في العشر الأواخر فإنها وتر ليلة إحدى وعشرين أو ثلاث وعشرين أو خمس وعشرين أو سبع وعشرين أو آخر ليلة من رمضان من قامها احتسابا غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه
