Ubada bin Samit reported,

I am one of the chieftains who pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said, We pledged to him that we would not associate anything with Allah, nor commit adultery, nor steal, nor kill a soul which Allah has forbidden, nor plunder. If we fell into any of that, the matter of its judgment rests with Allah .

حدثنا هاشم حدثنا ليث عن يزيد بن أبي حبيب عن أبي الخير عن الصنابحي

عن عبادة بن الصامت أنه قال

إني من النقباء الذين بايعوا رسول الله ﷺ قال وبايعناه على أن لا نشرك بالله شيئا ولا نزني ولا نسرق ولا نقتل النفس التي حرم الله ولا ننهب وإن غشينا من ذلك شيئا كان قضاء ذلك إلى الله تبارك وتعالى
