We pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to listen and obey in hardship and ease, in what we find pleasing and in what we find distasteful, not to contest authority with those entrusted with it, to speak the truth wherever we may be, and not to fear, for the sake of Allah, the blame of any blamer.

بايعنا رسول الله ﷺ على السمع والطاعة في العسر واليسر والمنشط والمكره وأن لا ننازع الأمر أهله وأن نقول بالحق حيثما كنا ولا نخاف في الله لومة لائم
