He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "A good dream is from Allah, and a bad dream is from Satan. So if any of you sees something he dislikes, let him spit to his left three times and seek refuge in Allah from its evil, and it will not harm him."
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن يحيى بن سعيد قال سمعت أبا سلمة بن عبد الرحمن سمع
أنه سمع رسول الله ﷺ يقول الرؤيا من الله والحلم من الشيطان فإذا رأى أحدكم شيئا يكرهه فليبصق عن شماله ثلاث مرات وليستعذ بالله من شرها فإنها لن تضره
Its chain of transmission is sahih. It was previously mentioned at 22524. The first Yahya bin Saeed is al-Qattan, and the second is al-Ansari.
