The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ablution and then prayed on the land of Saad at the edge of the Harrah, near the houses of Suqya. Then he said, "O Allah, Ibrahim was Your friend, Your servant, and Your prophet, and he supplicated to You for the people of Makkah. I am Muhammad, Your servant, Your prophet, and Your messenger, and I supplicate to You for the people of Madinah with the same supplication Ibrahim made to You for the people of Makkah. We ask You to bless them in their measure, in their mudd, and in their fruits. O Allah, make Madinah beloved to us as You made Makkah beloved to us, and transfer whatever epidemic is in it to Khumm. O Allah, I have declared sacred the area between its two lava fields, just as You declared the Sacred Precinct sacred upon the tongue of Ibrahim."
حدثنا عثمان بن عمر أخبرنا ابن أبي ذئب عن سعيد المقبري عن عبد الله بن أبي قتادة
أن رسول الله ﷺ توضأ ثم صلى بأرض سعد بأصل الحرة عند بيوت السقيا ثم قال اللهم إن إبراهيم خليلك وعبدك ونبيك دعاك لأهل مكة وأنا محمد عبدك ونبيك ورسولك أدعوك لأهل المدينة مثل ما دعاك به إبراهيم لأهل مكة ندعوك أن تبارك لهم في صاعهم ومدهم وثمارهم اللهم حبب إلينا المدينة كما حببت إلينا مكة واجعل ما بها من وباء بخم اللهم إني قد حرمت ما بين لابتيها كما حرمت على لسان إبراهيم الحرم
