The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the woman who attaches hair extensions and the one who has them attached, men who imitate women, and women who imitate men.
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Aswad is the orphan of Urwa, whose name is Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman bin Nawfal, mentioned previously at 1748. In Majma al-Zawaid only the part about cursing the one who attaches hair extensions and the one who has them attached is mentioned, 5:169, attributed to Tabarani, where he said, "It contains Ibn Lahia, and his hadith is hasan, and the rest of its narrators are trustworthy." He also mentioned that in Abu Dawud, from Ibn Abbas, "The one who attaches hair extensions and the one who has them attached is cursed," is mentioned without reference to the Prophet ﷺ. See Abu Dawud 4:127, and see what has passed at 2123.
