Ishaq said in his narration that Kabsha, who was married to the son of Abu Qatada, reported that Abu Qatada came in to visit her. She poured out water for him to perform ablution, and a cat came to drink from it. He tilted the vessel for the cat until it had drunk its fill.Kabsha said, "He saw me watching him, so he asked, 'Are you surprised, daughter of my brother?'"She said, "Yes."He said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'It is not impure. It is among those who go around among you, male and female.'"Ishaq said, "Or, the females who go around."
قال قرأت على عبد الرحمن: مالك وحدثنا إسحاق يعني ابن عيسى أخبرني مالك عن إسحاق بن عبد الله بن أبي طلحة عن حميدة ابنة عبيد بن رفاعة
إسحاق في حديثه وكانت تحت ابن أبي قتادة أن أبا قتادة دخل عليها فسكبت له وضوءه فجاءت هرة تشرب منه فأصغى لها الإناء حتى شربت قالت كبشة فرآني أنظر إليه فقال أتعجبين يا بنت أخي قالت نعم فقال إن رسول الله ﷺ قال إنها ليست بنجس إنها من الطوافين عليكم والطوافات وقال إسحاق أو الطوافات
