I prayed behind Abu Hurairah, and he would say the takbir whenever he bowed and whenever he prostrated. I mentioned this to Ibn Abbas, who said, "May you lose your mother! Is that not the practice of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?"

Its isnad is sahih. Abdul-Aziz Dabbagh is Abdul-Aziz bin Mukhtar Basri, the freedman of Hafsa bint Sirin, and he is trustworthy. He was declared trustworthy by Ibn Main, Abu Hatim, Daraqutni, Ajli, and others. The meaning of the hadith was narrated by Bukhari, as has already passed at 1886. See also 2656.
