Abu Qatada reported,

He reported that he saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ urinating while facing the qibla.Abu Abdul-Rahman said that his father told him, "Ishaq, meaning Ibn Tabba, narrated the same to us," and he said, "Abu Qatada informed me."
