The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "Khalid, after me there will be turmoil, trials, and discord. If you are able to be Abdullah the slain rather than the slayer, then do so."

قال لي رسول الله ﷺ يا خالد إنها ستكون بعدي أحداث وفتن واختلاف فإن استطعت أن تكون عبد الله المقتول لا القاتل فافعل
