The son-in-law of the Prophet ﷺ reported that the Prophet ﷺ passed by Muamar in the courtyard of the mosque while he was sitting with his knees drawn up and part of his thigh exposed. The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Cover your thigh, Muamar, for the thigh is part of the private area."
