I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eating, cutting from a shoulder of meat. Then he was called to prayer, so he prayed without performing ablution.
حدثنا يعقوب حدثنا أبي عن ابن شهاب
رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يأكل يحتز من كتف ثم دعي إلى الصلاة فصلى ولم يتوضأ
Its chain of transmission is sahih.
