We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on one of his journeys when he slept past the dawn prayer until the sun had risen, and none of them woke up. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ began with the two units of prayer and performed them, then the call to begin the prayer was made and he led the prayer.
حدثنا أبو عبد الرحمن حدثنا حيوة أخبرنا عياش بن عباس أن كليب بن صبح حدثه أن الزبرقان حدثه
كنا مع رسول الله ﷺ في بعض أسفاره فنام عن صلاة الصبح حتى طلعت الشمس لم يستيقظوا وإن رسول الله ﷺ بدأ بالركعتين فركعهما ثم أقام الصلاة فصلى
