The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best dinar is a dinar a man spends on his dependents, and a dinar he spends on his mount in the cause of Allah."Abu Qilaba then added, on his own initiative, beginning with the dependents, "What man earns a greater reward than one who spends on his young dependents, through whom Allah keeps them chaste and free from need?"
حدثنا عفان حدثنا حماد بن زيد أملاه علينا حدثنا أيوب عن أبي قلابة عن أبي أسماء
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال أفضل دينار دينار ينفقه الرجل على عياله ودينار ينفقه على دابته في سبيل الله قال ثم قال أبو قلابة من قبله برا بالعيال قال وأي رجل أعظم أجرا من رجل ينفق على عياله صغارا يعفهم الله به
