He visited his maternal aunt Maymunah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ. He said, "During the night, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ got up and went to a water vessel, performed ablution, then stood and began to pray. I also got up, performed ablution, and stood on his left side. He took my hand and turned me around behind him until he positioned me on his right side."
حدثنا إسحاق بن يوسف حدثنا عبد الملك عن عطاء
أنه أتى خالته ميمونة زوج النبي ﷺ قال فقام رسول الله ﷺ من الليل إلى سقاية فتوضأ ثم قام فصلى قال وقمت فتوضأت ثم قمت عن يساره قال فأخذ بيدي فأدارني من خلفه حتى أقامني عن يمينه
