Thawban reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "A servant continually seeks the pleasure of Allah, persisting in that pursuit, until Allah says to Jibreel, 'So-and-so, My servant, is striving to please Me. Indeed, My mercy is upon him.'Then Jibreel proclaims, 'The mercy of Allah be upon So-and-so,' and the bearers of the Throne repeat it, and those around them repeat it, until the inhabitants of the seven heavens proclaim it. Then it descends down to him on the earth."

عن النبي ﷺ قال إن العبد ليلتمس مرضاة الله ولا يزال بذلك فيقول الله عز وجل لجبريل إن فلانا عبدي يلتمس أن يرضيني ألا وإن رحمتي عليه فيقول جبريل رحمة الله على فلان ويقولها حملة العرش ويقولها من حولهم حتى يقولها أهل السموات السبع ثم تهبط له إلى الأرض
