The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever's soul departs from his body while he is free of three things will enter Paradise: arrogance, debt, and misappropriation of spoils."
حدثنا عفان حدثنا همام وأبان قالا حدثنا قتادة عن سالم عن معدان
عن النبي ﷺ قال من فارق الروح الجسد وهو بريء من ثلاث دخل الجنة الكبر والدين والغلول
Its isnad is sahih. It is found in Tirmidhi 4/118, no. 1573, in the Book of Military Expeditions, chapter on what has been said regarding misappropriation of war spoils. He said, hasan sahih gharib. Also in Ibn Majah 2/806, no. 2412, and Bayhaqi 5/355.
