The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to fast the first nine days of Dhul-Hijjah, the day of Ashura, and three days of every month. Affan said, the first Monday of the month and two Thursdays.
حدثنا سريج وعفان قالا حدثنا أبو عوانة حدثنا الحر بن الصياح قال سريج عن الحر
كان رسول الله ﷺ يصوم تسع ذي الحجة ويوم عاشوراء وثلاثة أيام من كل شهر قال عفان أول اثنين من الشهر وخميسين
