I went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the expedition to Khaybar, and I was the sixth of six women. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was informed that there were women with him, so he sent for us and said, "What brought you out, and by whose order did you come?"We said, "We came out to hand over arrows, to give the men barley drink, with us we have remedies to treat the wounded, and we spin hair into thread to help in the cause of Allah."He said, "Get up and go back."But when Allah granted him victory at Khaybar, he allotted us shares like the shares of the men.I asked, "Grandmother, what did he give you?"She replied, "Dates."

خرجت مع رسول الله ﷺ في غزاة خيبر وأنا سادس ست نسوة فبلغ رسول الله ﷺ أن معه نساء فأرسل إلينا فقال ما أخرجكن وبأمر من خرجتن فقلنا خرجنا نناول السهام ونسقي الناس السويق ومعنا ما نداوي به الجرحى ونغزل الشعر ونعين به في سبيل الله قال قمن فانصرفن فلما فتح الله عليه خيبر أخرج لنا سهاما كسهام الرجل قلت يا جدة ما أخرج لكن قالت تمرا
