The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us among Banu Salama with his companions. We brought him food, and he ate along with his companions. Then we brought him water for ablution, and he performed it.Afterward he turned to his companions and asked, "Shall I tell you about the things that wipe away sins?"They said, "Yes, please do."He said, "Performing ablution thoroughly despite difficulties, taking many steps to the mosques, and waiting for the next prayer after a prayer."
حدثنا محمد بن إسماعيل بن أبي فديك حدثنا الضحاك بن عبد الله عمن حدثه عن عمرو بن عبد الله بن كعب
جاءنا رسول الله ﷺ ومعه أصحابه في بني سلمة فقربنا إليه طعاما فأكل ومعه أصحابه ثم قربنا إليه وضوءا فتوضأ ثم أقبل على أصحابه فقال ألا أخبركم بمكفرات الخطايا قالوا بلى قال إسباغ الوضوء على المكاره وكثرة الخطى إلى المساجد وانتظار الصلاة بعد الصلاة
