The Prophet ﷺ performed ablution. He rinsed his mouth three times and sniffed water into his nose three times, then washed his face, and he used to wipe the inner corners of his eyes. The Prophet ﷺ would wipe his head once, and he used to say, "The ears are part of the head."
حدثنا يحيى بن إسحاق أخبرنا حماد بن زيد عن سنان بن ربيعة عن شهر يعني ابن حوشب
أن النبي ﷺ توضأ فمضمض ثلاثا واستنشق ثلاثا وغسل وجهه وكان يمسح الماقين من العين قال وكان النبي ﷺ يمسح رأسه مرة واحدة وكان يقول الأذنان من الرأس
