The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No servant is granted permission for anything more excellent than two units of prayer he performs. Righteousness is showered upon the servant's head as long as he remains in his prayer, and the servants have not drawn near to Allah Almighty with anything comparable to that which came from Him," meaning the Quran.
حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم حدثنا بكر بن خنيس عن ليث بن أبي سليم عن زيد بن أرطاة
قال رسول الله ﷺ ما أذن لعبد في شيء أفضل من ركعتين يصليهما وإن البر ليذر فوق رأس العبد ما دام في صلاته وما تقرب العباد إلى الله تعالى بمثل ما خرج منه يعني القرآن
