On the day of the Battle of the Trench, the Muslims killed a man from the polytheists, and the polytheists offered money in exchange for his corpse. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Hand over his corpse to them, for his corpse is foul and his blood-money is foul." He accepted nothing from them.
حدثنا نصر بن باب قال ثنا الحجاج عن الحكم عن مقسم
قتل المسلمون يوم الخندق رجلا من المشركين فأعطوا بجيفته مالا فقال رسول الله ﷺ ادفعوا إليهم جيفتهم فإنه خبيث الجيفة خبيث الدية فلم يقبل منهم شيئا
