Had I not heard it from the Prophet ﷺ except seven times, Abu Saeed said, except seven times, I would not have related it. He said, "When a man performs ablution as he has been commanded, sin departs from his hearing, his sight, his hands, and his feet."
حدثنا يحيى بن أبي بكير وأبو سعيد قالا حدثنا زائدة حدثنا عاصم بن أبي النجود عن شهر بن حوشب
لو لم أسمعه من النبي ﷺ إلا سبعا قال أبو سعيد إلا سبع مرار ما حدث به قال إذا توضأ الرجل كما أمر ذهب الإثم من سمعه وبصره ويديه ورجليه
