The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Recite the Quran, for it will come on the Day of Resurrection as an intercessor for those who were devoted to it. Recite the two luminous ones, al-Baqarah and Aal Imran, for they will come on the Day of Resurrection as if they were two clouds, or two shades, or two flocks of birds in ranks, pleading on behalf of the one who recited them. Recite Surat al-Baqarah, for taking hold of it is a blessing, leaving it is a regret, and the magicians cannot overcome it."Abdullah said, "This hadith was dictated to us by Yazid bin Harun in Wasit."
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أخبرنا هشام عن يحيى عن زيد بن سلام عن أبي سلام أنه سمع
قال رسول الله ﷺ اقرءوا القرآن فإنه يأتي شافعا لأصحابه يوم القيامة اقرءوا الزهراوين البقرة وآل عمران فإنهما يأتيان يوم القيامة كأنهما غمامتان أو غيايتان أو كأنهما فرقان من طير صواف يحاجان عن صاحبهما واقرءوا سورة البقرة فإن أخذها بركة وتركها حسرة ولا تستطيعها البطلة قال عبد الله هذا الحديث أملاه يزيد بن هارون بواسط
