The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "For me to sit remembering Allah, magnifying Him, praising Him, glorifying Him, and declaring His oneness until the sun rises is dearer to me than freeing two slaves or more from the descendants of Ismail. And to do so from after the afternoon prayer until the sun sets is dearer to me than freeing four slaves from the descendants of Ismail."

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لأن أقعد أذكر الله وأكبره وأحمده وأسبحه وأهلله حتى تطلع الشمس أحب إلي من أن أعتق رقبتين أو أكثر من ولد إسماعيل ومن بعد العصر حتى تغرب الشمس أحب إلي من أن أعتق أربع رقاب من ولد إسماعيل
