When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ began the night prayer, he would say "Allahu Akbar" three times, "Subhan Allah" three times, and "La ilaha illa Allah" three times. Then he would say, "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the accursed Satan, from his goading, his arrogance, and his idolatrous incitements."
حدثنا بهز حدثنا حماد بن سلمة أخبرنا يعلى بن عطاء أنه سمع شيخا من أهل دمشق أنه سمع
كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا دخل في الصلاة من الليل كبر ثلاثا وسبح ثلاثا وهلل ثلاثا ثم يقول اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الشيطان الرجيم من همزه ونفخه وشركه
