On the day of Uhud, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered that the iron and leather be removed from the martyrs, and he said, "Bury them with their blood and their garments."
Its isnad is hasan. Abu Dawud narrated it: 164, and Munziri said, Ibn Majah narrated it, and in its isnad is Ali bin Asim Wasiti, about whom a group of scholars have spoken critically, and Ata bin Saaib, about whom there is also criticism. It is in al-Muntaqa, 1805. As for Ali bin Asim, we have affirmed his reliability in 243, but he heard from Ata late in his life, as noted in al-Tahdhib, 7:204.
