When the Prophet ﷺ finished his meal, or when his table was cleared, he would say, "Praise be to Allah, abundant, good, and blessed praise, praise that is never enough, never bidden farewell, and never dispensed with, our Lord ."
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Thawr is Ibn Yazid Kalai Himsi. Ahmad, Ibn Saad, and Duhaym rated him trustworthy, though there is some discussion about him. Bukhari related from him, and the hadith is found in his collection at 9/580, number 5458, Fath, in the chapter on food, on what one says when finishing one's meal. It is also found in Abu Dawud, in the chapter on food, section 53, in Tirmidhi at 3456, in Ibn Majah at 3284, and in Darimi at 2/95.
