I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "None of you should come to prayer while needing to relieve himself, nor should anyone enter a house without permission, nor should an imam leading people in prayer single himself out with a supplication to the exclusion of them."
Its isnad is daif because of Safar bin Nusayr. Haythami said the same, 2/79, but he added, "Ibn Hibban deemed him trustworthy." The same is found in Tabarani's Al-Kabir, 8/125, no. 7507. It is sahih through the route of Ibn Abu Shayba, 2/422, and Abu Awana, 2/16 and 268, with similar wording, and it is also in Abu Dawud, in the book of Tahara, chapter 21.
