The Messenger of Allah ﷺ laughed, so we asked, "What makes you laugh, Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "I am amazed at people who are led to Paradise in chains."

Its chain of transmission is daif, due to the anonymity of the narrator from Abu Umama. But the hadith is sahih, reported by Abu Dawud 3/127 no. 2677. And with a similar wording, close in meaning, by Bukhari 4/73, Shab edition. It has also previously appeared with a similar wording in 9851 and its cross-references.
